I'm Luke Nuttall, a dedicated Level Designer with a BSc in Computer Game Development (2:1) from Glyndwr University, Wrexham.
Currently, I work as a Functional Tester for PlayStation, where I have gained invaluable insights into game development processes and collaborate closely with developers and production teams to meet tight deadlines. This role has allowed me to continuously enhance my skills with Jira, Unreal Engine, and Perforce.
Level Design is my passion, and I love creating levels for my favourite games. With five years of experience, I began my journey with my final year university project, Neon Rush, which I showcased at EGX in 2019. Since then, I've consistently refined my skills through personal projects.
Previously, I participated in the Level Design Lobby mentorship program with Max Pears, significantly enhancing my expertise. Following the mentorship, I have continued to develop my skills through independent projects in my spare time.
I have two years of experience with Maya and five years with Unreal Engine. Additionally, I have a solid understanding of Jira, Scrum methodology, and Perforce, which I've applied in both my QA work and university projects.
